Metal Gear Solid. What can I say about this game. Its a game which has enticed me to purchase every Sony Console to date. From Metal Gear Solid on PS1, the sequel on PS2 (remember that amazing bridge trailer?) to MGS4 on PS3.

So much love for this franchise, sure its sometimes wacky, but the story telling is just untouchable in my opinion. So Imagine my excitement at seeing the HD collection being announced and imagine my double excitement at seeing Zavvi selling the LIMITED ultimate HD Collection.

This collection will be limited to only 4000 worldwide and will include:

• Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
• PSN code to download Metal Gear Solid 1
• 5 x Art Cards
• An individually numbered steelbook case
• Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

All this comes at a price though £70….Wow i know but for what your getting does it matter? I pre-ordered mine straight away and not surprised to see that Zavvi has sold out of this in two days!

Sure I can’t really afford it right now but maybe closer to the time its released I will actually have monies And im pretty sure if I sold this un-opened I would get my money back (and more).

Yet another reason why the end of 2011 is a stoopidly busy year for top quality releases.
